Before you visit, please reserve a free ticket for a 60-minute self-guided tour. To keep our visitors, volunteers, and staff safe, we are making changes to how we operate. For a self-guided tour of the Gardens and Barnyard, please reserve a free, timed ticket via the online form or by sending an email to info@RanchoLosAlamitos.org with the time you wish to visit and the number of people in your group. Our open hours are 1:00-5:00 pm on Wednesday through Sunday.
When you visit, please:
- Wear a face covering. All visitors over 2 years of age must wear a face covering.
- Maintain physical distance of 6 feet or more from staff and other visitors.
- Make use of sanitizing stations and avoid touching your face.
- Help us protect this historic site and our livestock
- Stay home if you are sick with a cough or fever.
Other COVID-related changes we are making include:
- The Ranch House and Rancho Center remain temporarily closed, and docent-led tours will not be available at this time.
- Restrooms on the ground floor of the Rancho Center will be open.
- When you arrive, please stay at your car until your reservation time and then check-in at the station in the parking lot.
- After checking in, visitors will follow a one-way route through the Gardens and Barnyard. Please note that narrow pathways in the Gardens may not be accessible to maintain physical distancing of all visitors, volunteers, and staff.
During your visit, please help us preserve this historic site and our livestock:
- Do not touch or feed the animals.
- Do not or climb on buildings, farm equipment, and plants, including the roots of our historic Moreton Bay Fig trees.
